We supported the Communities in School from what stemmed from a donation to Manos House. Our support was made possible through the Vanity Fair Corporation’s hospitality to us from their donation. In that, any donations which we do not use, we immediately find a new home within the surrounding community — in an effort to continue to impact those in need.
From our additional support, Communities in School was able to extend our impact by sharing our donation with:
•18 South Youth Center – A youth program that encourages students to impact the youth within the community.
•Access York – A provider of free services to those affected by violence in York, Pa.
•YWCA – A support program for young mothers in York, Pa.
We are happy our donation was passed along and was able to reach a greater amount of people in need!
